January 2025
2022 Grande Riserva Release
Saturday, January 18, 2025 | 1:00pm - 3:00pm
You are invited to join Owner Jay Raffaldini and Winemaker Chris Nelson, Saturday, January 18th at the Winery as they present our 2022 Grande Riserva. As the name implies, Grande Riserva is a wine that represents the utmost and very best efforts of that that we do from the vineyard to the winery. We had a wonderful growing season and the grapes brought in from the vineyard were plump, juicy and bursting with flavor. These lovely grapes were made even more perfect by our increased use of the Appassimento drying process and the wine they produced is well balanced and full bodied and truly delicious.
In addition to enjoying the new Grande Riserva, Barbara Raffaldini will host a tasting of our custom blended olive oils and balsamic vinegars as well our Raffaldini pasta sauces.
Ticket price includes a glass of 2022 Grande Riserva, a glass of our sparkling wine Auguri and the above mentioned non wine tastings.
Ticket Price - $25 Non Wine Club Members
$20 Wine Club Members

Beyond the Vines...Into the Community
As we end 2024 and reflect on the year, we are reminded of the importance of nonprofit organizations in our community which feed, shelter, counsel, educate, inspire, enrich and empower. They foster community engagement and truly strengthen our communities by bringing us together for common causes.
If you haven’t already, please consider supporting one of your local nonprofits in one of the following ways: volunteer your time and skills; make a financial donate to support programming; advocate to help raise awareness about nonprofit causes, and finally, if you have a business, partner with nonprofits to support their initiatives, whether through sponsorships, in-kind donations or collaborative projects.
Raffaldini Vineyards is proud to have supported the following nonprofits in 2024 and look forward to supporting them and others in 2025.
AARF, Black Business Ink, Bookmarks, Carolina Farm Trust, Hugh Catham Health, Lake Norman Humane Society, Open Door Ministries, Piedmont Land Conservancy, Piedmont Opera, Pretty in Pink Foundation, River Run, Ronald McDonald House, Sawtooth School of Visual Arts, SECU House, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina, South Carolina Philharmonic, The Arts Council of Winston Salem & Forsyth County, The Enrichment Center, The Little Theater, The Parenting Path, UNCG Bryan School of Business, Wilkes County Economic Development, and Yadkin River Keepers.

Raffaldini Wines Now Available Across NC
Raffaldini wines available exclusively at the Villa we have found a wholesale distribution firm that targets wine shops and restaurants rather than mass supermarket, etc. We sought to build connections with independent retailers and restaurateurs so we can still tell our story to the sales outlet and build on the connection that we have with all of you. To begin, we agreed to have two value-based wines (Bella Misto and Bianco) as well as higher end (Vermentino Superiore and Montepulciano Riserva) available for sale.
After nearly two decades of having To locate a store near you, simply go to raffaldini.com then hover your mouse over shop on the header. When the drop down menu appears, click "Find Raffaldini Wines" at the bottom of the list. Once on the Raffaldini Store Locator, you can use the drop down to search by type or location or type in your zip code and search a radius for outlets near you. If you don’t see your favorite wine shop listed please email me directly at jay@raffaldini.com and I will work with our wholesale partner to get them in the store near you.
