We are excited to announce the pickup date of our Fall Wine Club Package which Jay considers our finest ever!
On Saturday, August 7, and Sunday August 8, Wine Club Pick Up will be held at the Winery. Jay Raffaldini will be on site both days to lead a lively discussion of the wine club wines. On Saturday August 7, he will be joined by our talented winemaker Chris Nelson. On both days, tastings of each wine club wine will be available, and we will also have food and tastings of new wines. There will also be drawings of fun prizes throughout each day so be sure to enter to win when you arrive. There is no cost to participate in the drawings, but you must be present to win.

The Fall Wine club package contains two bottles each of three new wine vintages of our most sought-after varietals. Your wine club package will contain the following wines:
- 2 Bottles 2020 Desaria (Full-bodied Vermentino utilizing Appassimento, extended skin contact and oak fermentation)
- 2 Bottles 2019 Montepulciano Riserva (Our signature varietal, hearty, fruit forward red)
- 2 Bottles 2019 Sagrantino (Robust, savory red wine made with epic tannins)

The 2019 Montepulciano Riserva and 2019 Sagrantino benefitted significantly from the perfect weather and prodigious use of the Appassimento drying process as well as fermentation in oak. They are deeply structured, full-bodied reds that are dark and brooding, definitely not to timid souls. The 2020 Desaria, a white wine that we made like a red wine, is a joy with incredible aromatics, color and acid. This year's Desaria included not just dried and whole cluster pressed Vermentino, but also white (yes white) Montepulciano blended in.
The package also contains a letter from Jay and recipes to pair with each wine from Barbara. If you cannot join us for the wine club release, you will have the opportunity to hear from Jay Raffaldini on these new wines via Zoom in the weeks following the release.
