Your Raffaldini Vineyards Private Label tour will begin at the winery where you will be led through the process of what happens to the grapes from harvest until they are transformed into a bottle of wine. You will then continue with a tour of the vineyards to see where the grapes came from along with an explanation of the different varietals grown in the vineyards and finishes with a private wine tasting in Villa Raffaldini. *For groups of ten or more. We are sponsoring a gift drive, "Fill the Barrel with Toys." Please bring an unwrapped children's toy to be put in the barrel. All toys will be donated to the Children's Home of Winston-Salem, NC.

Four Seasons Winter Wine Tasting Dinner

Join Owner and Winemaker Jay Raffaldini for the next quarterly wine tasting dinner held at our beautiful, Tuscan-style Villa Raffaldini. We have created the perfect menu to feature four seasonal food courses alongside four specially-chosen Raffaldini wines to embody the winter months. Delight in a bountiful antipasti display while mingling with new friends by a roaring fire upstairs on the second floor of Villa Raffaldini. You're Invited to the North Carolina Fine Wines Awards Gala Dinner
You already know that North Carolina and Raffaldini Vineyards produces fine wines, but did you know that North Carolina is holding its first Fine Wines Competition in January 2017? We're inviting you to join with North Carolina wineries as we announce the winners on Saturday, February 18th, 2017 in Winston-Salem at the Millennium Center.
Dress to impress on the red carpet and be prepared to enjoy a leisurely, six course meal paired with outstanding wines from across the state. Millenium Center Executive Chef Patrick Rafferty will introduce each course and the wine selection to go with it. Jay Raffaldini, President of the NC Fine Wines Society, will give the Welcome Speech and we'll have other speakers who will help tell the story of North Carolina Fine Wines and insight into our industry.
NC Fine Wines Road Show
Can't make it to the Awards Gala? The Top 12 wines from the NC Fine Wines Competition will be named the 2017 NC Fine Wines Case. These top 12 wines will then be Showcased at some spectacular locations around the state. There will be heavy hors d'oeuvres to enjoy along with a taste of each of the winning wines. Our Fine Wines in Fine Places events are all on Tuesday evenings and will be held at the Umstead in Cary on February 28th, the Duke Mansion in Charlotte on March 14th, and the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville on March 28th.
Tickets to the Awards Gala and ShowCase events are very limited, so act fast. Tickets make an excellent Holiday, Birthday, or Valentine's Day gift for that special wine and food aficionado. About the NC Fine Wines Society
The North Carolina Fine Wines Society was formed with two goals in mind: To promote the quality of North Carolina wines and raise scholarship money for students attending college programs focused on Oenology, Viticulture, Fermentation and Hospitality careers through our partnership with the Winston-Salem Foundation to create a 501(c)3 scholarship program. For more than one hundred years, the Winston-Salem Foundation has helped non-profit organizations achieve their goals. You tax deductible donation will go directly to the Winston-Salem Foundation, and perhaps can be matched by your employer.
In the Spring of 2017 the first applicants will be applying for money to help make North Carolina wine continue on its trajectory upwards. This is one investment in your future that certainly has the potential to be enjoyed for years to come. The Winston-Salem Foundation
